Memorial Benches

A gift that makes a difference
Funds raised through the memorial bench program go directly to the Newburyport Parks Commission to maintain and improve Newburyport Parks. It's a meaningful way to make a lasting impression on the community by supporting city parks.

Adopt an existing bench, $1,000
A traditional, commemorative plaque will be placed on an existing bench in one of Newburyport's parks or public spaces. Your donation will fund maintenance and improvements of city parks.

Purchase a new bench, $3,000
A new bench with a traditional plaque will be purchased and installed in your choice of available locations throughout Newburyport. This option serves Newburyport Parks in two ways: it provides a new bench where one is needed; and funds maintenance and improvements to city parks.
