Newburyport Parks

The City of Newburyport boasts some of the most beautiful parks in the Northeast. Newburyport offers a wide variety of green spaces from waterfront parks, woodland hiking trails and Victorian fountains, to creative playground settings and playing fields. Our parks host birthday parties and weddings, school outings, a variety of sports leagues and annual community events such as the Winter Carnival and Yankee Homecoming activities.

The Newburyport Board of Parks Commissioners was established in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 45 by Mayor Lisa Mead and the City Council on 26 January 1994.
